The Australian Embassy provides a number of services to help people wishing to travel to Australia for tourism or business or study.

 

What's new:

From 27 October 2008 eligible passport holders from the EU and other European ETA eligible countries will be able to apply for an eVisitor. eVisitor is for travellers seeking to visit Australia for business or tourism purposes for up to three months.

Australia has improved its electronic tourist visa application service for Polish citizens with the roll-out of an internet-base automatic granting facility from 16 June 2008. Read more...

1. Client appointments:

Clients who would like to lodge a visa application or make an enquiry in person at the Australian Embassy in Warsaw are required to make an appointment.

   Counter Opening Hours: 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9.00-12.30 by appointment
Tuesday and Thursday CLOSED

To make an appointment, please telephone + 48 22 521 34 44, Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 17.00.
Please note: all visa applications may be lodged by mail/courier; there is no need to make an appointment to come in person to the Embassy (our Postal Address is set out below). If you choose to lodge an application in person at the Embassy, we may not be able to make a decision regarding your application on the same day.

Visas

If you are not an Australian citizen then you need a visa to travel to, visit or migrate to Australia. To obtain a visa you will need to complete an application form and pay the scheduled charge for the appropriate type of visa. You will require a valid passport to travel to and enter Australia. If you are travelling to Australia on a temporary visa the passport must be valid for the duration of the proposed stay in Australia.

This office only processes citizens of Poland and permanent residents of Poland.

Temporary visas for Czech citizens are processed by the Australian Embassy in Vienna
