Austrade

The Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Government agency that helps Australian companies win overseas business for their products and services by reducing the time, cost and risk involved in selecting, entering and developing international markets.

The Australian Embassy provides a number of services to help promote and assist commercial links between Australia and Poland and the Czech Republic.

Australian Business Opportunities

Australia's economy, which is the 15th largest in the world, is very open. Tariffs on goods coming into the country are extremely low. Foreign investment into Australia is actively encouraged. Over 840 multinational companies have their Asian headquarters in Australia, including IBM, NEC, Philips and Compaq.

Australia trades with countries all over the world, irrespective of distance (for example our trade with Germany is 5 billion American dollars per year).
